`Free Hamlet`, under the visionary direction of Mc Ranin, who also signs the scenography of the show, is not a simple reenactment of the most famous play in the world, it is an uncomfortable, hyper-intimate invitation to the most overwhelming feelings, to the most spoken and, especially, unspoken articulated intimacies: doubt, revenge, plot, power, innocence, strength, love, honor, justice… hope – all so old, human and volatile, here brought to algorithm, precision and technology… for the initiated.

Different cultures, contrary principles, conflicting generations, languages not only in varied dialects, but in non-alphabetic alphabets – this is how the universe of a free Hamlet is conjugated. Romanian, Moldovan and Korean actors bring these fundamental themes to the audience, each in their own language and dialect, in a lively, dynamic, surprising production in which the boundary between classic and contemporary disappears in the universality of dramatic art, demonstrating that human emotions, conflicts and aspirations transcend linguistic and cultural boundaries.

The actors play, live and map the destinies of these iconic characters in the souls of the few who are allowed the intimacy of this tragedy.
