Romeo and Juliet is a story of an absolute and impossible love. The two lovers reunite forever in the place where conventions could not harm them anymore and where their youth, brutally disrupted, will remain intact. Are we free to choose our path? This question made me stage Romeo and Juliet in an actors and puppets production. Our interpretation combines the tragical emotion with the innocent humor of the puppet.
