“Argonautas” is a revaluation of the expedition of the Argonauts, the 50 heroes who accompanied Iason and who, 50 years before the Trojan war, left in search of the Golden Fleece. It is a metaphor for the odyssey of the modern man who goes in search of a place that he can call home and where he can express himself freely, without social or cultural constraints. The Golden Wool is just finding out this place of wealth and prosperity, where you end up being carried by the waves of life and accompanied by different people who are your mentors, friends or counterexamples. The long expedition symbolizes the initiatory road. Thus, the desire and opportunity of a co-production with the Teatro de Pesquisa Commune in Lisbon were born.
