HITLER IN LOVE is a theatre one man show written and played by Dumitru Acris and directed by Armenian director Suren Shahverdyan. The approach is not a political one. You will find the other side of Hitler totally unknown by the masses. The plot is presenting Hitler’s last days of life, closed in his bunker. There are revealed aspects of his intimate life: the relationship with his mother, with his lovers and with his army generals. The text presents his hate for Jewish people, his unknown weaknesses, the role of music in his life.
The conclusion of this approach could be that any child missing his parents love risks to become a dictator.
Dumitru Acris graduated Music, Theatre and Arts Academy from Chisinau in 2004.As an actor at Luceafarul Theatre in Chisinau he won the UNITEM Award for debut in 2002 and the Presidency of Moldova Republic offered him the title of Master in Art in 2007.
The Armenian director Suren Shahverdyan participated with PSYCHOSIS 4:48 by Sarah Kane at the Babel Festival 2008 in Targoviste. He won the prize for best director at the Cairo International Experimental Theatre Festival in 2006.

Dumitru Acris is also the unique producer for HITLER IN LOVE.

Tony Bulandra Theatre from Targoviste, Romania is only hosting 10 performances of the show and is assuring the technical needs and logistics. The representatives of the theatre are proud to collaborate with the artistic couple Acris - Shahverdyan. This initiative strengthens international artistic relations and is a proof for the good reputation abroad for Tony Bulandra Targoviste.

Starting with January 2009, HITLER IN LOVE will be played in Moscow and Berlin. We are also trying to attend all one man show theatre festivals from Europe.
