The Tony Bulandra Theatre from Targoviste presented on October 6th 2007 a new spectacle of the well-known play of W. Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet".
In order to bring off this wonderful production, an artistical team was invited from Turkey: the director Kemal Basar from The National Theatre - Ankara,
Murat Gulmez - set designer from The National Theatre in Izmir, Seyhun Ayas - light designer from the National Theatre in Ankara and Can Attila (the composer).
Mr. Mc Ranin made the costumes and Hugo Wolff the choreography of the play. Marius Manole from the National Theatre "I. L. Caragiale" Bucharest plays the role of Romeo
in this modern version of the play. Laura Vasiliu, the actress from "4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days"- Palme d'Or, Cannes 2007, shețs playing Juliet and Rodica Mandache from
The Odeon Theatre Bucharest she's playing the Nurse, together with the energetic team of actors from The Tony Bulandra Theatre.
